IPD has been working in the UK since 1985 when the company was established by Rupert Nabarro and Ian Cullen. We have a 150-strong team of professionals at our London headquarters including economists, surveyors, statisticians and IT specialists. They provide a wide range of services to property investors, occupiers and other clients including monthly, quarterly and annual indices, our core portfolio analysis service, benchmarking reports, bespoke research, publications, our specialist service for occupiers and events.

The UK Annual property index remains the IPD flagship service in terms of the number of properties and length of historic coverage (26 years). At the end of 2006, the 12,137 properties covered by the Annual Index were valued at £192 billion - equivalent to 49% of the UK investment market. The full Index tracks the three market sectors all the way back to 1971.
