Reality dawns: confronting European property's brave new world
|
IPD’s 2009 European Property Investment Conference examines the upheavals battering European real estate and asks how investors should be making the best of these challenging conditions.
Facing the future
European property is going through a period of dramatic upheaval and re-appraisal. The certainties of the boom years have given way to an environment of volatility and mistrust – both in the economic fundamentals facing the business and the strength of the property sector to deal with them. We examine what lies behind these perceptions and ask what European Real Estate needs in order to rebuild its future once again.
IPD Global Index Launch
The IPD Global Index will be launched at the conference. The Index provides a global statement of how real estate is performing internationally, and how it compares to other global assets – crucial for international investors tracking the fortunes of the asset class.
